Had a breakfast meeting at the top of Centrepoint a few weeks back. I've wanted to go up Centrepoint for a long time as it's one of the few towers in the West End and so you can look back towards the City and Docklands. Fortunately it was a bright and clear early Autumn morning and the light was magical. (And of course I had my camera with me - the grainier shots were taken with my iPhone.)
Wow, Rev, these are great! I particularly like the shots with the Thames. Which is my favourite? I think the shadow silhouettes.
London is quite low, buildings-wise - makes the few tall ones really stand out.
What is that building with the green roof? The one that looks like it is bowing under the weight of something dropped on it?

Glad you like them. Definitely think morning is the best time light wise. I love the view towards the city from Waterloo Bridge in the morning.
The green roofed building is the British Museum. It does look like it is collapsing doesn't it?
