Heading up to Newcastle today for a lunch time function we are hosting. Set alarm for 6.30 rather than 7.30 because the tube strike is causing chaos and I can't miss my train.
Alarm goes off. Drag myself out of bed and into the kitchen to make a cuppa, put the radio on and the first thing I hear is "Tube strike has been called off".
