Elegant Nicole and smoldering Hugh

Beautifully and imaginatively shot as you would expect from a Baz Luhrman film but a little bit indulgent and could easily have had it's 2 hour 45 min running time trimmed. A thoroughly charming story if a little bit predictable. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, who play the leads spark beautifully off each other and head a cast of some of Australia's finest talent. Overall entertaining but not Luhrman's best.
