During this interview on the 'blue' carpet at the premiere to Night At the Museum 2 the BBC correspondent comments on the similarity of�Ricky�Gervais's�character in the film that of David Brent from The Office and asks whether he drew on Brent for the performance.
Surely it is time for the media to admit that Gervais, while funny at times, is one dimensional. If he is in a film or in a TV series David Brent is pretty much what you are going to get every time. Once they do I think it will be time for him to take a back seat on concentrate on his writing.
